TERA Privacy & Use Notice

Pilot notice - last updated 14 August 2026. TERA is an independent paper-efficiency tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by an examination board or source website.

Privacy

No account is required. TERA uses no advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics. The welcome wall stores a short display name, country code, random visitor identifier, and submission time. Use a first name, nickname, or initials rather than a full legal name; names are never shown in the public totals. Production retention removes display names after 90 days and removes visitor and compilation records after 24 months.

Local PDFs are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to the TERA application server. For Catalog and From Links, the restricted same-origin relay streams approved remote PDFs without intentionally storing their URL or content. Generated booklets remain in browser memory until downloaded or the page is closed.

After a successful compilation, TERA submits only the random visitor identifier, booklet count, source/output page totals, calculated pages avoided, and time. It does not submit PDF contents, filenames, titles, selections, source URLs, or generated files. Public counters show aggregates only.

The public beta uses Cloudflare Pages, Functions, D1, and rate limiting. Cloudflare can process ordinary network metadata, including IP addresses. TERA does not store raw IP addresses. Its API protection stores only a keyed hash derived from the address, route, and one-minute time bucket; short-lived rate-limit rows are removed after ten minutes by the application retention pass. Application retention clears display names after 90 days and visitor/compilation records after 24 months.

Do not process personal, confidential, or student-identifiable documents with the public pilot.

Responsible use

You must have permission or another lawful basis to access, transform, print, and distribute each source. A freely reachable file on a third-party site does not by itself prove republication permission. Follow the examination board's current terms and preserve required ownership notices.

TERA can omit explicitly blank QP pages, MS covers and generic guidance, and place two actual MS pages on one sheet. Always review every output before printing or sharing. Do not use TERA to bypass access controls, remove ownership notices, publish answers improperly, or present transformed output as an official edition.

Pilot status

This build is a public beta. Privacy/deletion, security, support, and rights/takedown requests can be sent to abdullahazam1077@gmail.com. Broad institutional use remains subject to the documented rights, accessibility, browser, printer, and supervised-school checks.
